ANCELOTTI LINKED WITH ROMA

Carlo Ancelotti's looks set to be appointed as the new coach of Roma after everything seems to have been agreed with Chelsea.

The 51-year-old Italian is on the verge of a Stamford Bridge exit, and looks likely to leave for Roma at the end of the season, with only uncertainty over his replacement believed to be preventing the Blues from ending his term prematurely.

With the beginning of the end seemingly marked on Ancelotti's Chelsea reign, Roma will offer him a role as their new coach once new owner Thomas DiBenedetto completes his takeover of the club after UniCredit, the Italian banking firm and current club owners, flew to the United States to complete the handover of power.
