Wojciech Szczesny claims his best 4 Months

Wojciech Szczesny said that he learned more at Roma than he did over his whole career at Arsenal.

WojciechSzczesny, who is currently on loan at Roma from Arsenal, has stated that he has learned more during the past four months at Roma than he did over the last 10 years spent with the Gunners. For him, this is all due to the return of Luciano Spalletti as the manager of the Italian team.

The Poland international goalkeeper has said that Spalleti placed a lot of importance on details and also encourage goalkeepers to play with their feet. He believes that he has grown as a player and that his skills have improved a lot under Spalleti. He told the media that the Roma coach is an experienced coach and that he has given him various tips on how to improve and that he has become a better player under his guidance.

When asked about his future, he has stated that he knows where he will be playing next year but for the moment, he cannot reveal it. He added that if ever he stays with Roma he will seize the opportunity to learn from Spalleti and improve his qualities but if he has to return to Arsenal, he feel that he could use the experience he gained at Roma.

WojciechSzczesny is currently under contract with Arsenal until 2018 but at the moment, there is no guarantee that he will play for them again. He is currently third in the pecking order behind Cech and Ospina.

At the moment, he is the first choice keeper at Roma, and he is keen to extend his stay with the Italian team once his loan is over.

WojciechSzczesny will be going to the Euros with Poland and in most likelihood it will be after the tournament that a decision will be taken about the goalkeeper’s future.
