EVERTON BOSS EYEING ROMA DEFENDER

Everton manager Carlo Ancelotti is keen on a summer transfer swoop on AS Roma defender Gianluca Mancini as he continues to build a strong squad capable of challenging the big teams in the Premier League. The interest of Carlo Ancelotti in AS Roma centre back Gianluca Mancini was revealed by Italian newspaper Leggo.

Gianluca Mancini is a regular for AS Roma under manager Pablo Fonseca in the Italian Serie A. He has made 19 starts for the club this season, which is his second season at the StadioOlimpico.

Italian international defender Gianluca Mancini spent last season on loan at AS Roma from Italian Serie A rivals Atalanta before the move was made permanent in September 2020. He has a contract that runs until 2024 at AS Roma and Everton will have to pay a lot of money to sign him this summer.
