Luciano Spalletti says that he is confident on Miralem Pjanic

Roma manager Luciano Spalletti says that he has already put Miralem Pjanic in the past and is confident thatRadjaNainggolan will not follow him out of the club.

Pjanic recently made a mega money move to Juventus. The transfer significantly weakened Roma, who had already brought inSpalletti in the hope of becoming title challengers once again. The team just finished in the top three thereby qualifying for the Champions League next season. However, fighting for the league title is now the biggest ambition at the club specially to end the run of five consecutive titles won by Juventus.

Nainggolan is one of the few remaining top players at the club and he continues to be linked with a move to Chelsea. The Premier league club may not be in the Champions League next season, but they have vast finances at their disposal. Furthermore, the presence of former Juventus manager Antonio Conte is also a huge bonus for someone who is experienced in the Italian Serie A.Nainggolan is a Belgium by nationality and he will appreciate the presence of numerous international teammates like Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois at Stamford Bridge. For such reasons,Nainggolan has been heavily linked with a move to Chelsea but it remains to be seen ifSpalletti’s will have a positive effect.

“He's promised me that he's going to stay here. He wants to carry on playing in the position where he's playing under me. We're counting on him [EdinDzeko] also next year. He's got quality which he's not yet been able to express. His heart is in it and we want to take a look at the potential he showed before coming to Roma. We're glad we have him in our squad. There were times when I didn't play him because I've got other players to consider too, but he made his contribution, helping us gain the position we finished in," said Spalletti.
