AS Roma were on the end of a defeat on the road again in the Italian Serie A following their slim loss to hosts and title rivals Juventus in Turin.

Roma are a team on the upward curve in the Italian Serie A following the arrival of Jose Mourinho as the new manager. After an underwhelming campaign last term, Roma have been able to seal a place in the top four after the first eight games of the new league season buoyed by the managerial input from ex-Real Madrid, Inter Milan and FC Porto manager Mourinho.
AS Roma barely qualified for Europe at the end of last season as they struggled under Paulo Fonseca. The capital club qualified for the newly introduced European Conference League via seventh spot on the Serie A log at the end of last season.

Mourinho and his AS Roma players have shown that a top-four place at the end of this season is not out of place despite losing three league games already this season. Roma have won five and lost three of their eight league games in the debut seasonfor Mourinho at the capital club.
Roma suffered their third league defeat of the young Italian Serie A season when they were beaten 1-0 by immediate past champions Juventus. Everton loaneeMoise Kean was the recipient of the winning goal in the first half. Italian national team attacker Kean is on loan at Juventus for his second spell in Turin.
Kean broke into the first team squad at Juventus as a teenager before the Toffees made the decision to sign him in the summer of 2018. He spent last season on loan at French giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and he impressed a great deal. His goal was enough to lead Juventus to an impressive home win over Roma.
Roma retained their place in the top four of the Italian Serie A despite the defeat to the Old Lady. They have now lost their last three league games away from home after they were beaten 3-2 by rivals Lazio in their Rome Derby clash played last month and also lost 3-2 at the Hellas Verona.
