AS Roma are on a four-match winless run in the Italian Serie A after they were beaten 2-0 at Fiorentina on Sunday. Jose Mourinho and his Roma players have not won a league game since the 2-1 home win over Salernitanalast month. The UEFA Europa Conference League finalists have struggled to secure good results in both European football and Italian Serie A football.

Roma have been able to post good results in the UEFA Europa Conference League and thus leadingthem to the final of the competition with Dutch team Feyenoord standing in the way of a maiden Europa Conference League title.

AS Roma can become the first team to win the first Europa Conference League by beating Feyenoord in the final
In league terms, Roma have failed to beat Napoli, Inter Milan, Bologna and Fiorentina. Roma started their run of four winless in the Italian Serie A with the 1-1 draw at the home of Napoli. Roma were able to secure a point via a 1-1 draw with a late goal despite playing the final twelve minutes with a man down following the red card to Brazilian player Daniel Fuzato.
Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martinez scored one of the goals as Inter Milan beat AS Roma 3-1 to make it two league games without a win. The goalless draw at home to Bologna then made it a three-game winless run. The 2-0 loss at Fiorentina then made it four league games without a win with Argentine star Nico Gonzalez and Giacomo Bonaventura getting the goals for the team from Florence.
With two league games left to play, Roma are in danger of missing out on European football via the Italian Serie A and this could be dangerous if they fail to beat Feyenoord in the Europa Conference League final. On the Serie A table, Roma have dropped to sixth spot after the defeat to Fiorentina. Seventh spot is the last European spot on the Italian Serie A table.
