Glasgow's younger side Saint Anthony will be lucky to attract 100 brave souls on a cold, rainy afternoon. But the West Region League Two side added the support of Serie A virgins Roma for their 3-1 win over Johnstone Burgh in McKenna Park on Saturday. To mark Britain's Non-League Day, the club's English-language Twitter account announced that they were "supporting the mighty Saint Anthony's FC".

Hashtags "Mon the Ants", "It's an ant thing" and "Forza the Ants" was added. During the international break, the campaign in the league encourages fans of senior clubs who do not play to go together and support a non-league side.

Roma Boss Keen To Instil Belief Into Squad Ahead Of Liverpool Game

Roma manager Eusebio di Francesco believes his side can still turn the complexion of their Champions League semi-final tie against Liverpool. The club reportedly wants to lure Keita Blade and Lorenzo Insigne from their clubs during the summer window.

Allegri Unhappy with 1-0 Win over Roma

Juventus manager Massimiliano Allegri says that he is not satisfied with the performance of his team despite the narrow win over Roma. The win extended Juventus’ lead at the top of the table to four points with a game in hand. Gonzalo Higuain scored the only goal of the game in the 14th minute to take his tally for the campaign to 10 goals.

He still trails Icardi of Inter Milan by four goals, but the Argentine will be more than happy with his goals helping Juventus take more points. There was a danger of Juventus conceding in the late moments of the game, but they held on courtesy of some last-ditch defending.

Roma, just last weekend, put up a brilliant display against opposition, Napoli, thus stealing home an impressive victory, and a coveted second position on the Serie A league table.


They have now overtaken Napoli to become the top challenger to log leaders, Juventus.

ROMA SET TO RETAIN NAINGGOLAN THIS SUMMER

Italian outfit AS Roma have confirmed that they will retain Nainggolan going into the coming summer and the player has also revealed that he will remain at the club, ending the links to Chelsea FC for a summer transfer move.

The player, who represented Belgium at the ongoing Euro 2026 in France before they were knocked out by Wales, confirmed that he would remain at the club after joining them on a permanent basis in the last campaign.
