Roma Appoints Tiago Pinto as the New Director

As Roma is one of the most successful clubs in Italy. An official announcement from them confirms that they have appointed Tiago Pinto as their new director.


He is now working as the director of Benfica and he has been chosen to manage a broader portfolio for the club as well. Pinto is one of the most successful operators of football. He has been working for Benfica since 2017 as a General Manager of football but since 2012 he is attached with the club and was a manager of the multisport division of the club.

movement during premier league matches will not face punishment. The FA have pledged a common
approach to in-game incidents. The FA have been very strict against political and social movements in
football matches. Players are not allowed to make any political or social statement during official matches,
but with the current situation around the world, the FA will choose a commonsense ground and allow
players to show solidarity for Black lives matter movement.

Russia to Participate in the Sports Events

Russia is going to compete at Euro 2020 in spite of its ban from all kinds of sports events for four years. Recommendations have come from the compliance review committee of the agency of World Anti-Doping that Russia must also be banned from competing and also hosting any kind of major international sports events. However, declarations were also made that the Anti-Doping Agency of Russia to be non-compliant over other inconsistencies regarding the data about anti-doping.
